Documentation of Hans Christian van Nijkerk's performance accompanying his sound installation Self-Portrait / Selvportrett / Zelfportret at the BA-Show "I AM HOT FOREVER // I AM NOT FOREVER" at Tromsø Kunstforening, May 12th 2012.
This performance was the starting point or sketch - if you will - for his subsequent work "To Perform Is To Achieve", "Art Fans Commentary" and the "Winners of Loss" series.
The structure of the performance was as follows:
-10 minute warm-up exercises with improvised anecdotes and comments.
- Main program: 10 x 30 seconds intervals with 30 second breaks.
